This year, the Committee intends to pursue four projects: (1) identifying volunteers who would summarize court of appeals opinions which interpret and apply the Rules; (2) update and expand a paper concerning the Internal Operating Procedures of the various appellate courts in Texas; (3) interview Jody Hughes, the new Rules Attorney for the Supreme Court of Texas, Justice Nathan Hecht, and William Dorsaneo concerning changes in, applications of, and interpretations of the Rules; and (4) communicate all the foregoing to the Bar.
