This year, the Committee would like to target discussion, in a CLE format, for the several courts of appeals outside of the larger metropolitan areas and those areas already adequately served with CLE programs. These presentations would be of particular interest to lawyers with cases transferred to a court of appeals outside the venues usually visited by them. These presentations could then be webcast on the State Bar website. The Committee hopes to develop a "standard" presentation that could be replicated easily by all the courts of appeals, and that would involve a mix of court staff, previous briefing attorneys, and local practitioners.
