The Diversity Committee plans to introduce more minority and women lawyers in Texas to the Section and the resources available to them through the Section. The Committee hopes these efforts will increase diversity in the Section’s membership and leadership. To accomplish these goals, the Committee plans to educate itself about diversity issues through literature and the diversity efforts of other Bar sections and diversity organizations and initiatives, and to support or co-sponsor programs already in place within Bar sections that specifically represent minority and women lawyers.
