The committee conducts oral histories of retired and former justices from the Texas Supreme Court and chief justices from the courts of appeals and of the past chairs of the appellate section. The histories are archived by the State Bar of Texas, the Tarlton Law Library at the University of Texas at Austin, and the Texas State Law Library. Oral histories also are published periodically in The Appellate Advocate.
