The Member Services Committee focuses on identifying, recruiting, and encouraging new members for the Section. This year, we hope to (i) identify needed services, or services which might attract new members to the Section; and (ii) inform existing and prospective members of available services and the benefits of membership in the State Bar of Texas Appellate Section. The Committee works closely with the Sections Department of the State Bar of Texas ("SBOT") to provide resources to members and coordinate the Section's offering of free memberships each year to new lawyers.
