Calling for Award Nominations!

The Texas Bar Foundation is calling for entries for the Gregory S. Coleman Outstanding Appellate Lawyer Award. This award recognizes an attorney who exhibits an outstanding appellate practice and strong moral compass while maintaining a strong commitment to providing legal services for the underserved and mentoring of young lawyers.

Announcing the winners of the 1st Annual Twitter Brief Competition!

We had a great response to our First Annual Twitter Brief Competition, attracting entries from around the country! The winning entries were "blindly" selected by a panel of judges; the judges did not know the authors of the entries. We are pleased to announce that the Grand Prize was awarded to Justice Mary Murphy of the Dallas Court of Appeals:
