Appellate Section of the State Bar of Texas

Outreach and Engagement Committee

The Outreach and Engagement Committee works to introduce more minority and women lawyers in Texas to the Section and the resources available to them through the Section. The Committee hopes these efforts will increase diversity in the Section’'s membership and leadership. To accomplish these goals, the committee educates itself about diversity issues through literature and the diversity efforts of other Bar sections and diversity organizations and initiatives, and supports or co-sponsors programs already in place within Bar sections that specifically represent minority and women lawyers.
